The Seven Eight Principles
  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person;

  2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;

  4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

  5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;

  6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part

  8. And our Eighth Principle... We affirm and promote the following 8th Principle:

    Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by building a diverse, multicultural Beloved Community that by our actions accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.

POWER for a Moral Budget: Action and Advocacy Day
Please join POWER Interfaith as we take action together and urge PA state lawmakers in Harrisburg to pass a moral budget that includes fair and full funding for public schools, increasing the minimum wage and ending local wage preemption, and allocating millions of $$ for sustainable home repairs.

POWER Mayoral Candidate Forum
A huge thank you to all who attended Power's Mayoral Candidate forum this past Sunday and contributing to the event's success. Power registered over 800 participants and we were able to hear from leading mayoral candidates. I will be sharing the summary and score cards from the event as soon as I receive them, which should be by tomorrow. And will outline next steps between now and May 16.
