The Seven Eight Principles
  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person;

  2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;

  4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

  5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;

  6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part

  8. And our Eighth Principle... We affirm and promote the following 8th Principle:

    Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by building a diverse, multicultural Beloved Community that by our actions accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.

Memorial Garden

Memorial Garden
Created in 2018

Our peaceful Memorial Garden provides a spiritually appropriate place on our property for the dispersal of cremation ashes to commemorate the life of members and friends.

The use of the Memorial Garden in the garth is under the control of the Board of Trustees of the church or a committee designated by the Board and is being maintained by the Building and Grounds Committee. A bronze plaque with the names of those commemorated here graces one wall.

This pamphlet explains more about the garden, and includes an application.
